In 2017, Suzhou Tourism took a new social media campaign for visitors especially the North American market. This campaign includes various social media activities such as social media influencer engagement, creative content development, a series of consumer-focused online and offline contests by the online travel agent and so on. Thus it will reveal 2500 years of its history and inspire the visitors to have a deeper connection with the local communities. They will show a series of master class video of Kelley’s personal experience with Suzhou. Besides this, the Tourism will also do online coverage that will highlight Suzhou’s experts and craftsman. With the campaign, the Tourism authority has taken a step to engage in influential artist attractions, renowned cultural venues, international events such as Emmy Awards and public sites especially they focus on four North American markets such as New York, San Francisco, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles. All these activities focus on one aim to make Suzhou as a top destination for the tourist. Suzhou has noteworthy and elegant stone bridges, canals, flowing water and architecture. The city offers the visitors to see the beautifully manicured Classical gardens of Suzhou. The destination is made of more than 400 attractions including temples, historical districts, world-class museums, pagodas and many more. There are three airports such as Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, Pudong International Airport, and Sunan Shuofang International Airport that visitors can use to go to Suzhou.
