The Boeing 787-9 has 42 business-class seats, 28 in premium and 166 in economy seats for this direct journey and 3 hours faster than taking an interval in either Asia or in the Middle East. The first history-making flight started its journey from Perth at 7 pm local time and touched its destination in London at 5.30 am local time with 16 crews including four pilots and more than 200 passengers. The price is high but the CEO claims that they did not take high fare for this direct service compares to their rival companies. The CEO of this airline also claims that they can make more money by taking a high price for the fair. He argued that people prefer to fly direct because it saves time. The reason for saving time by paying more is that Perth is the business center and so business related entities usually want to fly faster. This flight starts making money from its very first journey and they believe it is a start of new era of travel.
