Coast Guard Beach, Cape Cod, Massachusetts
Coast Guard Beach is part of the Cape Cod National Seashore in Eastham, Massachusetts. The beach is one and one-half miles East of Nauset and Doane Roads (on road to a beach from Salt Pond Visitor Center). It is a prime swimming beach during the summer season. From mid-June to Labor Day, the parking area at this location is closed to all but park staff and visitors who are disabled. Access is provided by a shuttle bus from the Little Creek parking area (across from the Doane Area). The parking is limited at the beach which is a negative impression for last minute vacation deals but there are seasonal restrooms and a wheelchair-accessible ramp-way to the beach.
